What is a land blessing, and when would a property or an event need one?

A land blessing honors the land and asks for balance and healing in a space. People ask for one at the beginning of their harvest, and some at the end to give thanks. Others ask when they move into a new home, when they are rebuilding, or when the energy of a place feels disturbed and they want to clear the story that lives there and ask for healing and forgiveness. Farmers invite me back every year for their harvest. Families ask for their homes.

Do you travel outside Denver?

Yes. I serve the Front Range and travel across Colorado, from the Denver metro to the mountains and the Western Slope. For the right work I am open to traveling farther, including out of the country.

How long does a ceremony take, and what does the day look like?

It depends on the ceremony. Preparations usually begin the day before, setting the intention and building the momentum for the work. A dinner or corporate ceremony runs about three hours, with an opening prayer, a blessing, and the ceremony itself. A harvest ceremony brings blessings and an offering to the land at planting and at harvest. A house clearing depends on the home and what the space is asking for.

What do you need from the people hosting?

A sacred space where we can make the ofrenda, the offering. Everything else I bring.

How far ahead should someone book you?

A month in advance. I like to visit the land before the ceremony, to see it and understand what it has experienced.

Can you work with a corporate group or a workplace gathering?

Yes. For groups I hold a healing circle that acknowledges all lineages. I call in the ancestors of everyone present, so the group unites with the earth and the cosmos together. I have done this work with corporate groups, science and agriculture communities, farms, and restaurants.

What is your training, and who did you learn from?

My whole life has been the training and the preparation. I studied five years in the Azteca tradition under Yoloteotl, completed a four year kalpulli apprenticeship with curanderas, and have studied Tibetan Cranial medicine for five years. I am a spiritual guide of the House of the 13 Eagles.

Can your ceremony fit alongside everything else happening at an event?

For an opening prayer, I need dedicated time held for the ceremony. When I am offering limpias or healing as part of a larger event, I hold my own space, and the event flows around me.

Is it alright for people to take photos?

Yes, photos are welcome, as long as I am not in ceremony, in the actual prayer. And please do not take pictures of my sacreds.
