Beverly Castaneda is a guide of Oxlaju Ochoch Tzi'kin, The House of 13 Eagles, the School of Maya Cosmology and Cosmic Investigation. She trained under Maya Spiritual Guide and Priest Nataline R. Cruz, and is recognized and supported by the Elder Don Miguel Angel Chiquin Yat and La Asociación de Pueblos Mayas para el Desarrollo y la Productividad "Manuel Tot" (Asomaya) of Cobán, Guatemala.
Her own Indigenous roots are Ute, Diné, and Apache. She is a descendant of the original peoples of Colorado, a curandera, an Indigenous farmer, a practitioner of Tibetan Cranial medicine, and an Indigenous Relations Consultant, most recently consulting for the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance on the culturally significant Native plant knowledge behind the Medicine Wheel Garden at Daniels Park.
Her work guides individuals and communities to remember their sacred origin, heal across generations, and walk with the ancestors, healing with the great womb of Mother Earth, her plants, her animals, and the Medicine she gives.
Beverly works with the messages of Mother Earth. That is ancestral healing light. Her gift is to connect with the harmonic movement of the Earth, its harmony and its mystery, and to deliver the messages that come through. Those messages meet each person right where they are and mirror back what they need, harmonizing them with their own consciousness.
